Joseph began his aviation insurance career in 1982, with a major aviation insurer in Toronto after studying Administrative Studies at York University.

In 1989 he moved to Reed Stenhouse, where he was responsible for new business production, and was account manager for various general aviation, airline and products accounts.

In 1993, he joined Johnson & Higgins to lead their aviation practice for Eastern Canada.

A graduate of the Aviation & Flight Technology Program at Seneca College, he obtained a commercial license endorsed with Multi IFR & Instructor Ratings and also holds a Canadian Risk Management Designation.

Joseph joined BAIG in 1999 as President & CEO of the Canadian company.
