Mr. Bruno joined Global Aerospace in 1988, as an underwriter in the Eastern Branch Office in New York City. Since then he has served as a senior underwriter, executive underwriter, assistant branch manager, and vice president and manager of the Latin American Unit. Mr. Bruno was project manager for development of the company’s pleasure and business aircraft automated underwriting system in 1995 and 1996. He was promoted to senior vice president in 2001 when, in addition to his responsibilities in Latin America, he assumed management responsibility for the Northeast Region. In January 2005, Mr. Bruno assumed executive oversight and supervision of General Aviation underwriting and production for all of Global Aerospace’s US regional offices as well as the Latin American region.
Prior to joining Global, Mr. Bruno was a commercial property, inland marine, and DIC underwriter for AIG. He also worked as a property reinsurer for the Swedish reinsurer Skandia Group in New York City. Mr. Bruno graduated with honors from Farleigh Dickinson University with a degree in economics and he holds the CPCU and CAIP designations.
Mr. Bruno is a type rated airline transport pilot with over 5,000 hours of logged PIC experience and he maintains single, multi-engine, and instrument flight instructor certificates. Mr. Bruno’s prior aviation experience includes work as a corporate and air taxi pilot and he has also worked extensively in fixed base operations. |
